The Nepal Public Health Academy (NPHA), in collaboration with the Public Health Initiative and the Health Care Association of Nepal (HCAN), is pleased to announce the upcoming launch of its first online learning program: “Comprehensive COPD and Respiratory Health Course for Healthcare Providers.” This initiative is being implemented with the generous support of the Global Allergy & Airways Patient Platform (GAAPP).
The new online course aims to strengthen the knowledge and skills of healthcare providers across Nepal in the prevention, early detection, diagnosis, management, and long-term care of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) and other respiratory health conditions. Designed as a self-paced, evidence-based learning program, the course will be accessible to healthcare professionals nationwide through the Nepal Public Health Academy’s digital learning platform.
The launch of this platform represents an important step toward expanding equitable access to quality public health education through digital innovation. By combining professional capacity building with public awareness resources, the initiative seeks to improve respiratory health literacy and contribute to better prevention and management of COPD across Nepal.
The Nepal Public Health Academy remains committed to developing high-quality online learning opportunities that address Nepal’s public health priorities while fostering lifelong learning among health professionals.
